Huth-Rhoades named Bradley U Entrepreneur-In-Residence


Laura Huth-Rhoades, President, CEO & Founder of do good Consulting, was tapped by Bradley University’s College of Liberal Arts & Sciences to serve as 2015 Entrepreneur-in-Residence.Laura Huth of do good Consulting

Huth-Rhoades has been creating social change-driven organizations and ventures since she was nine years old, when she founded the Spring Avenue Tribune with her younger brother and sister. The Tribune was an in-house produced newspaper serving the Spring Avenue block’s 20 neighbors and was created entirely by the Huth children. The newspaper ran for six years.

Since then, she founded a babysitting business called KinderCare that helped to put her through college, the nonprofit Illinois Student Environmental Network, do good Consulting, and a side cottage business, reCREATE, that offers interior design and outdoor living/gardening design services.

HutLaura Huth as Entrepreneur in Residenceh-Rhoades visited Bradley in April 2015 to teach entrepreneurship classes, host office hours, attend roundtables and forums for students interested in entrepreneurship, and participate in panel discussions with Bradley staff.

She is a 1992 Political Science and Sociology graduate of Bradley, which is in Peoria, Illinois.
